Fla. Libertarian Party Chairman to Surrender Driver’s License in Real ID Protest

Florida now requires that all driver’s license and state ID card applicants be subjected to a “digital facial image capture” that is compatible with facial recognition software.  Wyllie believes that all of these intrusive requirements are a violation of the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and his ultimate goal is to challenge Real ID in court.

Houchen & Son

Last Saturday June 4, there the dancers returned to the  Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC and were joined by an army of disobedient dancers.

Howard Houchen, co host of AxXiom for Liberty, moonlighting as our intrepid reporter, along with his son, Colin, were there.

Howard writes;

The first “Dance Party at TJ’s” resulted in multiple arrests and very heavy-handed tactics in carrying out those arrests by Park Service Police.           This second “Dance Party at TJ’s” was a direct result of how the first was handled.

AxXiom is disobedient

I decided when my driver’s license expired back in Feb. 2011, that I could not,  in good conscious, get it renewed.  Consequently, I was ticketed this past weekend for driving without a license and will fight this in court.

The  collection of biometrics  for our state driver’s license continues unabated in Oklahoma even though we passed a law to stop it back in 2007 and any new legislative remedy appears to be hopeless.

Most people don’t realized that their digital picture on the license is, in fact, a biometric to be used with facial recognition technology.  The technology used to capture and collect this most personal information (biometrics are  measurements of your very body) utilizes international standards so that the information can be shared globally and used to track and monitor us where ever we go.  The global biometric ID scheme continues to progress and I don’t think the implications of a global biometric ID on privacy and freedoms cannot be overstated.

Join Howard and I  for a rabble rousing round up tonight on AxXiom For Liberty Live  6-8 pm CT on Rule of Law Radio Network!
