Election Dates Reminders

2010 Election Dates Reminders:

  • Primary – Tuesday, July 27, 2010 – Critical Date as some races will be decided on this date since there is no opponent from the opposite party
  • Runoff Elections – Tuesday, August 24, 2010
  • General Election – Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Helpful Websites and Information Oklahoma State Election Board: www.ok.gov/elections/Oklahoma Ethics Commission to check Campaign Contributions: www.ethics.state.ok.us   Click on Campaign Reporting, then Click the photo of the Capitol Dome, then click Public Disclosure.  The C1-R forms list the monies contributed and expenses.  Interesting reading.

010 OK-SAFE Non-Partisan Voter Guides
Printable Voter Guides are now available on the OK-SAFE home page.  The 20-question candidate questionnaires (one for those seeking federal offices, another one for state offices) were sent to all those who filed for offices this election cycle. Their responses are posted on the front page of the website in printable format.

OK-SAFE Action Forum – OKC – August 5th, 2010

The next OK-SAFE Action Forum will be held in OKC at The Village Library.

The topic will be a review of the 2010 OK Legislative Session, how many bills passed, which ones didn’t pass. Also, just what is the Oklahoma Energy Security Act of 2010 and the SmartGrid, and are they connected to the Bailout of 2008?.
