Crying Wolf: Exposing the Wolf Reintroduction to Yellowstone National Park

I have been both horrified and fascinated by the size and rise of these wolves in the West.

Wolves were largely eradicated in the Western states purposely because of the propensity of the wild canines to hunt and kill (but not necessarily eat) large numbers of the herd animals that was the livelihood of the ranchers and farmers.  The wolves also decimated game herds and are doing so again.

The wolves have been “reintroduced” in recent years.  The battle between the humans and the wolves is predictably escalating.  These animals that have been reintroduced are not native to the western states either.  They are Canadian gray wolves and they are much bigger than the native wolf was and much more prolific producing more than twice as many pups per litter.

If you ever wondered why this is happening, as I was, watch this movie.

This documentary lays out the problem and it is beautifully done.

  1. Just add some donkeys to the herd… problem fixed… I know my folks raise donkeys just for this… They also have a couple of lamas but that’s a whole different story…
Just renewed my NRA membership and ordered some more survival stuff. Plus I’m a veteran and member of Oath Keepers… To bad we don’t know who is higher on the ‘list’… I’m working on it…
