Howard and I have a jam packed, pro-liberty line up for you tonight!

Larry Pratt, Executive Director of Gun Owners of America.

Larry Pratt has been Executive Director of Gun Owners of America for over 30 years.  The GOA is a national membership organization of 300,000 Americans dedicated to promoting their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms. Congressman Ron Paul describes Gun Owners of America as “The only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington.”

Website http://gunowners.org/

Larry Pratt is a frequent guest on many national radio and TV programs.  Following the Sandy Hook school tragedy, he made an appearance on CNN with Piers Morgan who took the opportunity to try and demean Mr. Pratt’s views but ended up sparking outrage instead.  Tonight we will talk with Mr. Pratt about the incident and more importantly, what Second Amendment advocates should do to protect their rights in the wake of gun control hysteria and potential legislation intended to curtail our Second Amendment rights.

OK. Sen. Patrick Anderson

Next up, we are very pleased to be speaking with Oklahoma Sen. Patrick Anderson, Republican Senator from OK District 19 since 2004.  Sen Anderson will be telling us about his bill, SB23, designed to protect Oklahomans from property-rights busting policy based on UN Agenda 21 Sustainable Development.

Sen. Patrick Anderson, R-Enid, said his Senate Bill 23 is based on a bill that was passed by Alabama lawmakers last year and is aimed in part at cutting off state support for the groups pushing limits on property owner rights.

As a farmer, Anderson said he is concerned about the federal government – pushed by the U.N.’s agenda of sustainability – forcing rules on a wide variety of things, including the creation of dust and how land can be used.

“There’s a place for all that, but we also need to make sure we’re not infringing on the property owners’ rights to use their own land,” Anderson said.

The first and best steward of how land should be used is the private owner, he said.

Oklahoma senator’s bill targets controversial U.N. Agenda 21 plan

Joe Wolverton, II

And we are also pleased and honored to have Joe Wolverton, II to give us the heads up on legislation and policies that will effect some of our most cherished legal and natural rights.

Since 2004, Joe Wolverton, II has been a featured contributor to The New American magazine.  He was a practicing constitutional law attorney until 2009 and his articles on the Constitution, states’ rights, the NDAA, drones and surveillance have appeared in national and international publications, including lewrockell.com the Tenth Amendment Center, Infowars, and Business Insider among others.  Joe Wolverton II is a national speaker on constitutional issues and is a professor of American Government.

This ought to be a great show!

Guest co-host Craig Dawkins returns to the show tonight and we will be interviewing special guest Colin Henderson about the spate of deaths and dubious practices of the Scientology based drug rehabilitation facility, Narconon Arrowhead, located in Canadian Oklahoma

You can read his story here;

We covered Colin’s story over two years ago on AxXiom For Liberty.

What we learned then that is even more concerning now is how Narconon was permitted to operate  in the state even after the Oklahoma Board of Metal Health refused to approve the organization stating that, “No scientifically well-controlled independent, long-term outcome studies were found that directly and clearly establish the effectiveness of the Narconon program for the treatment of chemical dependency and the more credible evidence establishes Narconon’s program is not effective”

A review of the many articles published in the Newkirk Herald Journal beginning in the late 1980’s when Narconon first began to put down roots in Oklahoma, raises serious concerns about the process by which the organization gained approval to operate.

Originally Narconon was sited in Kay County on tribal property.

Tribal members contacted about the Chilocco project were not aware of a possible connection to the Church of Scientology.  All they’ve been told is that it is a “private corporation.”

Pawnee office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs said they were not aware of the connection, and were very “surprised” be- cause the “state” and the “governor’s office” were involved in getting Narconon to come to Chilocco.

Herald Journal Publisher April 27, 1989

Narconon Arrowhead, is finally being investigated.  Unfortunately it has taken the deaths of four young people, three of them in quick succession to put this facility in the spotlight.

July 25, 2012

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — After three deaths in nine months at an eastern Oklahoma drug rehab center with ties to the Church of Scientology, the local sheriff confirmed Wednesday that he has launched an investigation. link

The latest death happened just days ago, Stacy Murphy, age 20, was reported to have been found dead at the facility on July 19, 2012 ‘Somethings terribly wrong there’, says the father of Stacy Murphy.

Hillary Holten, 21 of Carrollton, Texas, died April 11; Gabriel Graves, 32, of Claremore, died Oct. 26.  . . .Kaysie Dianne Werninck, 28, died March 3, 2009, at a Eufaula hospital after she was transferred from the center.Read more: http://newsok.com/narconon-inquiry-in-oklahoma-expands/article/3695615#ixzz21nJQIgOh

When Regina Ramsey decided that she wanted to leave after Stacy Murphy’s death, she required the assistance of the Sheriff to do so.

We will cover all of these issues and more tonight on AxXiom For Liberty.

Craig Dawkins is a tenured professor who teaches economics, personal finance and investments formerly a professional financial adviser and business owner.   His true passion lies in agitating on behalf of liberty and he advocates for the reform of the ballot access laws in Oklahoma, ending the drug war, and the importance of third parties in reforming the political process.

Craig is sitting in for Howard Houchen who is hot on the campaign trail in Oklahoma’s SD 5. Here is some of the latest news on Howard’s run for State Senate

In the first hour, Craig and I will tackle some of the  hot political issue that are dominating discussions and take your calls.

Call in Number is 512-646-1984

In the second hour we welcome liberty activist extraordinaire Paul Henry from Florida.

If the nanny state is getting you down you will want to listen to what this former Florida Deputy Sheriff and State Trooper has to say.  Paul is the founder of the non-partisan citizen’s group Floridians Against REAL ID, and authored two bills for the 2012 Florida legislative session: REAL ID partial repeal and Motorist Rights (red light cameras).

Not only do these two safety-justified policies violate our natural and legal  rights, they don’t work!  Paul takes the time to demonstrate the faulty logic and actual results of such misguided policies.  Paul goes beyond simply nagging the nanny state-he takes action.  Listen, learn and be inspired!

You can follow Paul Henry’s work at;

Florida: Analysis Disproves Red Light Camera Program Claims
Examination of accident data show St. Petersburg, Florida red light cameras failed to reduce accidents.

A retired Florida state trooper released a report Friday meant to keep St. Petersburg honest on the subject of red light cameras. Paul Henry, who spent 25 years in law enforcement and reached the rank of lieutenant in the Florida Highway Patrol, was outraged when he saw the city’s transportation director, Joe Kubicki, claim the recently activated photo ticketing program was responsible for a 60 percent reduction in “red-light related” crashes.

We will devote most of Friday’s show to discussing Agenda 21 Sustainable Development and how it pertains to all of us but specifically to the Central Oklahoma area.  PlanOKC, Regionalism, the role of the Councils of Government (ACOG) in implementing this plan and what we can do about it, will be covered.

The Call in Number is 512-646-1984

Here is brief overview of Agenda 21 Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development is the Action plan being used across America and around the world to implement the United Nations Agenda 21 program. Although the movement’s roots are much older, the United Nations, at its 1992 Earth Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, publicly launched the global movement known as Agenda 21. The Secretary General of that ‘Earth Summit Conference, Maurice Strong addressed the gathering and said the following:

“…current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class ‐ involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.”

178 nations were signatories to the 288 page Agenda 21. President George H. W. Bush signed on behalf of the United States. Since Agenda 21 was “soft law” and not a treaty, Congress had no role to perform. Instead, the cabinet agencies of the Executive branch of government were charged with implementing
this ‘global to local’ program.

In 1993, President Bill Clinton established, by executive order, the President’s Council on Sustainable Development. Since Clinton’s order, every cabinet agency has undertaken its role in advancing Agenda 21/Sustainable Development policy in the US.

In summary, Sustainable Development seeks:
• The step by step abolition of private property, primarily through the
implementation of the Wildlands Project and Smart Growth.
• Education of youth to prepare them for global citizenship.
• Control and ultimate reduction of human population.

Sustainable Developers rally around the concepts within their “three E’s” symbol. The three E’s are Equity, Economy and Environment.
• Equity means to restructure human nature and to enforce that restructure by shifting our system of justice from one that adheres to the principle of equal justice and unalienable rights to one that implements the concept of
“social justice.”
• Economy means shifting from free enterprise to “public‐private partnerships.” It also means establishment of a global economy where goods “freely” cross national borders in order to redistribute financial, natural and human resources in order to equalize the income distribution within and between nations.
• Environment means giving plants, animals and even inanimate objects status equal to or even greater than the rights of human beings.

March 16,  2012

Tonight on AxXiom For Liberty Live with Kaye Beach and Guest Co-Host Kevin Kelly

LISTEN LIVE at LogosRadioNetwork.com

Howard Houchen is, let’s say, “in the field” or “on assignment.”  In truth he has set out for parts unknown on a top secret adventure the purpose of which in known only to a few, and that few is sworn to secrecy.  We will be waiting with baited breath for a full report when he returns but in the meantime I am very pleased to welcome my good friend, Kevin Kelly, who has graciously agreed to be my guest host this evening.

Kevin is the founder of Chester County Ron Paul 2012, a radio producer and popular guest on numerous radio shows across the country.  His writings have been featured on the LRC Blog, Antiwar.com and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Kevin has a passion for all things radio and I predict a bright future is in store in radio for him.

We will be discussing current events for the first hour and taking your calls.

Call-In Number is 512-646-1984

In the second hour we welcome a very special guest, Steven Spingola, former Milwaukee Homicide Detective, and author.  Spingola is a nationally recognized investigator whose excellent reputation precedes him.  He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, a death investigations expert, a police shooting reconstruction expert and is formally trained in investigative analysis.

Take a look at Steve’s website, Spingola Files, at www.badgerwordsmith.com/spingolafiles/

Steve is also the author of  The Killer in Our Midst: the Case of Milwaukee’s North Side Strangler and Predators on the Parkway: a Former Homicide Detective Explores the Colonial Parkway Murders.
Check out these periodicals by visting www.badgerwordsmith.com/books.html
Among other topics, we will be discussing a new ebook-American Stasi: Fusion Centers and Domestic Spying  by Miles Kinard  (Available at Amazon.com and highly recommended!)

In his review of American Stasi: Fusion Centers and Domestic Spying,  Steve Spingola writes;

“On September 10, 2001, had a high-ranking law enforcement official told me that government agents could monitor the movements of those in possession of wireless devices in real time, absent an order from a judge, or enter a person’s private residence without leaving any documentation that an entry had occurred and that private property had been seized, I would have recommended a visit to the puzzle factory.  Kinard also illustrates why the cost of America’s domestic spy apparatus (estimated at $350 to $500 billion) became so outrageous. He further debunks the notion that Americans have little to fear from the newly created surveillance state as long as they have nothing to hide.

Make no mistake about it, Big Brother is here 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  When it comes to liberty, ignorance is no longer bliss”

I am encourage to know that their is some concern among law enforcement over the apparent paradigm shift taking place in their field.

I wrote of Steve Spingola recently;

The very best law officers have one thing in common; they want to get the bad guys and protect the innocent.  But what happens when the tools offered to law enforcement to get the bad guys also threaten the innocent?   This is not a new dilemma for law enforcement but with the myriad of changes taking place in recent years on both the legal and technological front, it must be an incredibly tricky one now.

Steven Spingola is doing something very important.  He is opening a dialog on issues that desperately needs an airing among those who swore an oath to serve and protect the people of the United States.

This former detective is truly is an investigator to his core.  Not satisfied with accepting anything at face value he is examining issues at what must be an uncomfortable intersection for anyone involved in law enforcement

AxXiom For Liberty Live 6-8 PM CST – The Oklahoma Open Government Act HR 1004

Tonight on AxXiom For Liberty with Kaye Beach and Howard Houchen-

The Oklahoma Open Government Act HR 1004

Listen LIVE on LogosRadioNetwork.com from 6-8pm CST

Oklahoma State Representative Charles Key (R) District 90,  will be with us in studio to discuss a problem with the legislative rules at the Oklahoma Statehouse that many believe “encourages government secrecy, corrupts politicians and cuts the heart out of representative government.”

The problem: Bills are assigned to committees whose chairmen exercise dictatorial control over whether a bill gets a fair hearing. Without discussion or vote, chairmen can arbitrarily kill any legislation they choose.

If a legislator is unable to get his or her bill heard, then representative government is essentially dead. Many good bills never get a fair hearing and recorded vote because the committee chairman chooses not to hear them. Legislators are able to avoid taking a public position on difficult issues. The people are the losers.

This kind of power was never envisioned by America‘s Founders or the authors of our state constitution. They meant for the legislative process to be open to all the people’s representatives (legislators) so that all ideas could be heard and debated in search for the best ones. This moral issue is the foundation of representative government and a free society.

. . .The solution is the Open Government Rule: The House and Senate need to change their rules to assure that every bill that a legislator wants heard gets a fair hearing in committee and recorded vote. And every bill that passes committee gets a fair hearing and recorded vote on the floor.

This rule change will assure that the people, through their representatives, get a fair hearing for their ideas. Just as important, the people will be able to hold their representatives accountable. No longer will politicians be able to say one thing while doing something else.

Tonight Howard and I have two very special guests lined up for you.

Listen Live Online at LogosRadioNetwork.com

First up is Benjamin Domenech from the Heartland Institute to speak with us about the problems with PPACA (ObamaCare) mandated State Insurance Exchanges.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), sometimes referred to as “Obamacare,” requires states to establish and operate health insurance exchanges by 2014. States that create their own exchange must comply with federal requirements, and the exchange must be approved by the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. If a state opts not to create its own exchange, PPACA provides that the federal government will implement one for the state.

Read more from Kendall Antekeier, Legislative Specialist with the Heartland Institute

**Mr Domenech and Ms..Antekeier will be in Oklahoma discussing this issue on Feb. 7th and 8th**

Benjamin Domenech is managing editor of Health Care News and a research fellow at The Heartland Institute.

Benjamin joined The Heartland Institute in 2009 after several years working and writing on national health care policy, beginning with a political appointment as speechwriter to U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson, and continuing as chief speechwriter for U.S. Senator John Cornyn during the Medicare Part D debate on Capitol Hill.

In addition to his work with Heartland, Benjamin is currently editor of The City, an academic journal of faith, politics, and culture, published by Houston Baptist University. He previously worked as a book editor for Eagle Publishing, where he edited multiple New York Times bestsellers in the arenas of politics, history, and sports. He was a founding board member of Redstate, a prominent conservative activist community site, and co-hosts Coffee & Markets, an award-winning daily podcast focused on politics, policy, and the marketplace.
